Environment Problems in Malaysia
One of the environmental problems in malaysia is water pollution. The sea in Malaysia is becoming convinient place for people to dispose rubbish. It is amazing that just a couple of years ago, Langkawi island, pangkor island, penang island and Tioman island have a beautiful sea and beach like the famous Redang island. But now what we could find there is just the awful smell and brown colour sea.Water pollution not only affect people's health but also give bad impression to other people that travel to Malaysia. There is a good example is the Woodland and Johor bridge which connect Malaysia and Singapore. When people passing the bridge, they can easily recognize which part is Malaysia by having the awful smell that come from the sea and the rubbish everywhere in the sea and road.It all cause by the bad habits of people that like to throw rubbish everywhere without thinking the effect.Since water is the most important thing in our life, every Malaysian should be responsible and protect it ourself!

I agree with you that malaysian natural beauty is being destroyed by this water pollution. When I have visited malaysia, I found it a great country for natural beauty lover except this water pollution in certain areas. In fact, this water pollution has destroyed a lot of beautiful beaches, river and small streams, not only in malaysia but all over the world. My home town is an another example in my town there were waterfalls and few river streams of fresh and clean water but now only the stinky and smelly water is flowing in them. It is just because of the human beings carelessness and lack of concern about the environment we are living. we should try in our capacity to make this world less polluted not only for humanity but also for the other creatures which are living with us.
Ha. One of my favorite places which I enjoy my holiday is pulau diao man. I will be there every 2 years. More and more people go to this beautiful island every year. However, I ound that its water is no longer as good as it was before. Is it due to our visitors?
In my hometown, Chongqing, a southwest city in China, the water (river) pollution problem is also very serious. And since our living water relies on river. So it results in water shortage, which will lead to many other problems. Thus, we really need care more about the water resources.
